The Fan Coil Unit is air conditioning equipment used in small-size spaces that discharges cool/warm air using cold/hot water flow through the coil. The cooling/heating source and pumps are installed in the central machine room, and cold/hot water flows through water pipes installed between the central machine room and the fan coil unit installed rooms.
Ceiling cassette type is buried in the ceiling during installation and discharges air through the grille panel. The type is divided into quad-directional, bi-directional and uni-directional types depending on the number of blades in the grille panel.
Ceiling type is buried in the ceiling during installation. It is divided into the ceiling-concealed type, low-noise ceiling-concealed type for hotel use, high static pressure ceiling-concealed type and ceiling cassette type.
Vertical floor type fan coil unit stands vertically when installed. It is divided into the top-exposed type, top-concealed type and stand type.
The vertical floor type is usually installed in an indoor place beneath a window where the heat loss is the largest. It is mainly used in offices, hospitals, schools, public offices, libraries, conference rooms, etc.
The top discharge type is divided into the front discharge type, top discharge type and slant top discharge type (45°) depending on the air discharge direction.
The slant top type is advantageous in that it blows out more volumes of air into the room at the air discharge angle of 45°.
Vertical floor closet type has the fan coil unit embedded and concealed in it. It is buried in the interior casing for installation.
